Handpan workshop - we will learn the techniques of hardpan combined with  rhythm’s from the middle east & west Africa, improvisation and ensemble playing.

World percussion workshop

Introducing the participants with multiple cultures' music via its' traditional percussion instruments.

The workshop's core would be oriental music originating in North Africa, The Middle east and Turkey.

Workshop's Methods:

Traditional rhythms  will be learned through the aspects of lyrics, melody and rhythm.

Workshop Equipment Requirements:

Each participant brings his own drum. Recommended drums: Darbuka / Djembe / Frame drum
Instruments  brought by Liron: Hang drum, frame drum, Riq.

 

Percussion workshop are available for all levels, can be also few days teaching.
